About the Founder

Chen Deng is the Founder and Executive Director of the Norman Bethune International Institute of Canada for Healthcare Innovation (NBIIC-HI), a Canada-based platform dedicated to advancing mechanism-driven translational medicine, global healthcare innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Inspired by the Norman Bethune spirit of dedication, compassion, and scientific excellence, he works to connect researchers, clinicians, healthcare institutions, innovation platforms, and industry partners worldwide. Through NBIIC-HI, he supports international research collaboration, joint grant development, strategic project design, healthcare service initiatives, talent development, and cross-border healthcare innovation.
